The Manage Tier Upgrades / Manage License Tier Auto Upgrades Feature allows your license to be auto-upgraded to the next tier for the software that you are using once you reach the specified limit(s) in your license. Refer to this article for reference on License Limits. If your license is automatically upgraded, you will be charged accordingly for the next tier. In the case of an Owned License, if you are charged for the whole license, simply contact our License Team, and your bill will be adjusted accordingly to only pay the difference between the plan's original cost and the new cost.
The Limit feature is a way to offer different software, and different license tiers to not only be cost-effective but budget-friendly. Some of our software may even have a "Free" option, which would offer you a free license, but with some more limits imposed. This would allow you to "indefinitely try" the software, and then choose to upgrade if you so desire.
